CONTACT US

For information on visiting with your dog and other POW activities, contact the County Coordinator for your county. Details below. If you are not sure where to direct questions, please contact President, Barbara Ellis.

County Coordinators support volunteer teams in their area and are familiar with facilities being visited. For this reason, they are a great help to new dog-and-handler teams. They understand each facility’s needs and how each visit functions. They can help new volunteers select a first visit and also expand the types of visits they make (changing from an assisted living facility to a school, for example). They also are responsible for keeping each team’s veterinary records (rabies and fecal) up to date. If you would like to discuss scheduling a Pets on Wheels visit at your school or facility, contact the County Coordinator in your area.

If you are a facility or organization that would like to request a pet visit from Pets on Wheels of Delmarva, email President Barbara Ellis at petsonwheelsdelmarva@gmail.com or the coordinator for the county in which your event will be held.  Please include your name, the name of your facility, and the County where you are located. If you are requesting visits for a special event, please also include a brief description of the event as well as any essential details on timing/scheduling.
